Editor-in-Chief
Alex Marlowe
Alex Marlowe is Lucalvry's founding Editor-in-Chief. Before launching Lucalvry in 2024, Alex spent twelve years as a contributing editor for Condé Nast Traveller and a regular hotel critic for Monocle and Wallpaper. The work focused on the same gap Lucalvry covers today: independent boutique hotels and small luxury chains that out-perform the big-brand grand dames at a meaningfully lower rate. Alex tests roughly 60 hotels a year, writes the Hotels and Destinations pillars, and edits every published piece.
